Career guidance programme for degree final year students @ Hosakote, Bangalore on 12-02-2015




Career guidance plays a vital and most important role in the decision making process for degree final year student. Government First grade college, Hosakote, in association with Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bangalore, organized a work shop for their degree final year students on ‘Career guidance’ on 12-02-2015.
The work shop started with a team building game by Prof. Y. Muralidhar Reddy, of Cambridge college, he stressed upon the importance of self motivation, and goal setting to achieve the success. He insisted students to have a weekly, monthly and annual goals and mechanisms to achieve them to be successful in the future.
Prof. Raghu N explained the students about various job and higher study opportunities available for the degree students and skills required to get a job. He insisted upon the importance of communication skills to get a job. The speakers spoke about the importance of pursuing higher education especially MBA course in order to get best opportunities to work in best of the best corporate. 

Around 150 students attended the session. Prof. Srinivasa Rao and Prof. Harish coordinated the programme.
